Overview

In the second semester at NID, I worked on this design project to understand service design in the healthcare sector. The project resulted in designing a mobile application to enhance the overall experience of blood donors. The goal was to improve the network and total operating time of the blood donation process and to create awareness and motivation amongst people about blood donation.

Self Reflection - What can be improved

  • I will work on the accessibility of the user interface of this app

  • There is scope to integrate this app with inbuilt health apps on the mobile device

  • More explorations  can be done to integrate this app into smart wearables

  • Systems thinking approach can be applied to design platforms for blood banks and hospitals
